Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm Kamal, and I build opensend.cc. Every product sends email, but almost none of them own it. Your mail goes through someone else's platform. You pay for every email, some features cost extra, and your domain's reputation is in someone else's hands. opensend.cc is the other way. It's a complete email platform that runs on your server and sends through your own AWS account. What's in v0.1.0: • REST API and SDK, plus SMTP • Domains with guided DKIM, SPF and DMARC setup • Every email tracked, from sent to clicked • Broadcasts, templates, automations, audiences, webhooks and logs • An MCP server, so AI agents can send email too Install it on any server with Docker: curl -fsSL https://opensend.cc/install.sh | sh Already on Resend? The API is compatible. Change the import and the key, and your sends stay the same. It's Apache-2.0 and free. You pay AWS for sending ($0.10 per 1,000 emails on SES) and you pay for your own server. That's it. I'd love to hear what you would need before you move your app's email to it. I'm here all day to answer questions.

nice product! do u have any timeline for when u'll release the paid hosted version?

does this do inbound too or sending only? and if I run it on my own box, how are you handling the IP reputation problem for someone starting from zero??

"your domain's reputation is in someone else's hands" is the line that'll actually land with anyone who's done cold outreach at volume - we send a lot of it for Dial and the shared-sender-pool anxiety is real, one other customer on the same platform burns a bad list and your deliverability takes the hit too even though you did nothing wrong. since this runs through your own AWS account, does switching over mid-campaign mean starting warmup from zero on the new sending domain, or is there a way to carry over an existing SES reputation/history if you're migrating off another provider
