I'm super excited to see all the things packed in this version. My top 2 features are the option to use mobile devices to control openHAB via voice, and the Model Context Protocol that allows AI agents to do really useful things in a secure way.
I'm usually not the fan of AI-izing everything, and have been skeptic, until now, on how AI could be safely integrated in a truly useful way on smart home systems, but there are situations when asking "the system" to create a one-off rule on-the-fly could be quite useful.
I'm looking forward to trying some of the improvements on my instance.
