Top comment
Hi Product Hunt, I built openchat-llm as a lightweight, compliant fork of NextChat to test a simple idea: many developers and AI users want a clean OpenAI-compatible chat client where they can bring their own API key, base URL, and model configuration. This first release includes: - OpenAI-compatible API settings - Web, Docker, and Windows desktop preview - No bundled API key - No default company endpoint - MIT-based attribution and compliance notes The goal of this launch is to validate whether people still need a simple open-source BYOK chat client for testing different LLM API providers.
