ChatGPT's new "study mode" is a learning experience that guides you to answers with hints and questions, instead of just giving you the solution. It offers personalized, step-by-step support to help you build a deeper understanding of any topic.
Hi everyone!
If I had this when I was in college, I'm sure my GPA would've been a point higher, for sure:P
ChatGPT just rolled out a new "study mode," and it's a really smart approach to learning. Instead of just giving you the answer, it acts like a patient tutor, asking guiding questions and helping you work through a problem step-by-step until you actually understand it.
It's a great feature for anyone tackling a tough subject or prepping for an exam.
Tried and loved the interactive nature of the study mode , apart from that the reasoning level is also good like it will taught a topic from scratch to advance . Best for school and college students or anyone with a intent to learn about something.
I wish this was around when I was in school. I remember swiping through all the forums on Google just to find the most likely answer (but never really sure if it was correct!).
Tried it out, not for studying though, but to create a presentation slide for my next pitch. Feels like it's responding faster than the Plus version's normal mode (could just be me though).
Was talking about this with someone today... everyone thinks Study Mode is just for students, but honestly, this might be the most useful thing OpenAI’s released for founders.
Instead of just giving you answers, it helps you work through real problems, like a strategist who never gets tired. It also has the powerful impact of gives humans back their agency.
I jumped on it yesterday and I've already used it to:
Break down my product's SaaS retention curves
Debate and pressure test pricing decisions
Think through how to prioritize our feature roadmap
Prep for a couple sales calls
It’s not just learning, it’s thinking with you. Overall, super underrated.
Could study mode eventually suggest videos or visual learning along with the Q&A?
This brings back memories. I remember queuing outside a professor's office just for one question, or digging through pages of Google results for a single formula. A patient, 24/7 AI tutor that guides you is a huge step up. I'm genuinely happy for students today.
Honestly, this is game-changing—I've been hacking together AI tools for months, and finally having one powerhouse platform to build on is such a relief! Can’t wait to see what’s next.
