OODS Foundry
Define an object once, get its React and Vue screens
OODS Foundry is an open source MCP server for building product UI with an AI assistant. It drafts your objects from schema files you already have (Prisma, OpenAPI and more), then generates list, detail, form and timeline screens in React or Vue with your components.
We talk about our products using objects: a User, a Subscription, a Membership, a Warehouse. Each one shows up on a lot of screens, and each screen describes it without pulling from one source. OODS Foundry defines the object once, using traits like Authable and Classifiable. A trait adds fields and says what to show in each context. And from those definitions, OODS can automatically generate a list, detail, form or timeline screen, using the components your team already has.
The importer reads the schema files you have (Postgres, Prisma, dbt, OpenAPI, GraphQL, OData), drafts the objects and proposes traits it infers from the schema. Everything's customizable and nothing's registered until you accept it.
I built this because I truly believe design systems need to evolve and objects are simply a better abstraction and unit of reuse. Object and trait definitions provide a contract that allows AI to understand and produce the right outputs. Updating a trait or object definition changes it everywhere, across every screen. https://oods-foundry.com/demos/t...
