OneDev supports AI users as autonomous teammates in the normal dev workflow. They can take issues as requirements, create isolated workspaces, change code, open PRs, respond to reviews, fix CI failures, and resolve merge conflicts. AI users can also review or merge PRs by rule, keeping requirements, code, review, and validation visible in one place.

Top comment

How do you currently hand issues to AI agents? Do you first create issue branch, ask an agent to work on the code, then manually commit changes, update issue state, open the PR, handle review comments, and fix CI failures. Or do you prefer the dev platform to manage the full issue-to-PR loop itself, while the team reviews the result in the normal workflow? This is the workflow we are trying to make native in OneDev

Comment highlights

Curious how the AI users fit into the existing workflow, do they show up like normal assignees with their own accounts, or more like background agents you spin up per task?

How does the AI user thing actually work in practice? Like, does it spin up its own account in OneDev and you assign issues to it like a real teammate, or is it more of a background agent?

Love that OneDev bundles so much in one place, the AI reviewers and conflict resolvers are a really nice touch. One thing that would make it even better for my team is a built-in cost tracker for CI/CD runs, showing per-job resource usage and estimated spend so we can spot wasteful pipelines without bolting on another tool.
