OnboardMe
Offline-first QR networking, live agendas & CFP for events
OnboardMe is an offline-first event networking PWA for tech communities and conferences. Exchange verified QR contact passes without venue Wi-Fi, export 1-click vCards, browse multi-track live schedules (`Cmd+K`), and manage Call for Papers (CFP) in one place.
Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I'm Bhavik, the maker of OnboardMe (https://onboardme.in).
If you've ever attended a developer conference, hackathon, or local tech meetup, you know this exact pain:
1. Over 500 developers pack into a venue, and the Wi-Fi immediately dies.
2. You meet someone awesome, try to pull up your LinkedIn QR code, and stare at an infinite loading spinner.
3. To check which room the next talk is in, the organizer asks you to download a 180MB native event app that asks for 12 permissions and spams push notifications.
I built OnboardMe to fix all three problems inside a fast, zero-install Progressive Web App (PWA):
⚡ Offline-First QR Badge Exchange:
Your digital pass renders locally and works 100% offline. Scan a peer's QR badge even in a basement venue with zero signal; connections queue in local IndexedDB (Dexie.js) and sync automatically when you're back online. Add private context notes ("Met after the Rust keynote") and export everyone to your phone's native address book in 1 click via standard .vcf vCards.
🗓️ Live Multi-Track Agendas + Cmd+K Command Palette:
Browse chronological session tracks, filter by room or format, or hit Cmd+K (or /) to jump straight to any speaker or session in milliseconds.
🎤 End-to-End Call for Papers (CFP) & Co-Speaker Flow:
Community organizers don't need 4 separate tools anymore. Open a CFP with custom questions, verify co-speakers via confirmation tokens, rate submissions 1-to-5 stars, and promote accepted talks directly to the live schedule in a single click.
✒️ "Paper & Ink" Editorial Design:
Instead of another generic dark-mode SaaS dashboard, OnboardMe is crafted like a tactile, high-contrast print conference guide (#f8faf7 warm alabaster paper, #111315 Carbon Ink, #4338ca Signal Indigo actions, >18:1 WCAG AAA contrast for bright outdoor venues, and a 5-tint pastel badge system).
You can test the live schedule, press Cmd+K, or click "Preview Sample Pass" on /networking right now without even signing in:

I'd love your feedback on:
- What frustrates you most about networking or schedules at tech events?
- What would make OnboardMe a no-brainer for your next community meetup or hackathon?
Thank you for checking it out! 🚀

OnboardMe was hunted by Bhavik Makwana. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
