Olai lets you send a digital postcard in under a minute. Pick a stamp, write a few lines and share the link. The card opens right in the browser, with no app, no account and no sign-up. The message lives in the link itself, not on a server, and if you save the stamp as a picture, its QR code still opens the card. There are different stamps for different occasions and many more moments in your life.
Olai started with a visit to a conference. The idea came up there, and I built it right after.
The name comes from the Tamil "olai", the palm leaves on which words were kept for a long time. In a time of fast words that are just as fast forgotten, I thought a small card could be something special for the moments that deserve it.
That's it. Nothing more, nothing less.
The idea behind it: an app that only lives in your browser. No account, no database of messages, no personal data collected. Your words travel inside the link itself. Olai just offers one simple thing – and tries to do it well.
Happy to hear your thoughts, and which occasions or stamps you'd like to see next.

Who hunted Olai?
Olai was hunted by Thiva. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
