ohship.lol is a league for apps. You put yours in the ring, it gets matched against another app, and the two of them fight for 24 hours. People vote up or down. Elo moves. Every fight is kept on the record, so a fighter builds a history instead of a one-day spike. Everyone who fights gets real visits from people clicking through to try things. The idea came from a simple frustration: launching a side project gets you
a spike of attention for a day, then silence. I wanted a place where an
app could keep earning attention over time - so I built a league. Apps
fight 24-hour head-to-head matches, strangers vote, Elo ranks them, and
every fight stays on the record forever.
Every fighter gets real visits from people clicking through to check out
what's in the ring. Winning helps, but the point is that just showing up
puts you in front of actual people.
Full transparency: I vibecoded the whole thing - Lovable, Supabase,
Stripe, and a lot of Claude/ChatGPT. It went from idea to live product in
days, which still feels slightly absurd to me.
