Hey Product Hunt! I built OGConverter because I wanted a simple image tool that could handle everyday conversions without making people upload their photos to a server first.
OGConverter handles image processing locally in your browser. You can convert between formats like HEIC, JPG, PNG, WebP and AVIF, as well as compress, resize, crop, optimize images and remove metadata.
One feature I especially wanted was target-size compression, so instead of repeatedly adjusting quality settings, you can aim for a specific file size.
It's free to use, requires no account, and doesn't add watermarks.
I'm still actively improving it, so I'd genuinely appreciate feedback — especially on what formats, tools or workflows you'd like to see next.
