👋 A Note from the Maker
Hey hunters! I’m a CS student who built OfflineUtils out of sheer paranoia. I was constantly frustrated by pasting sensitive strings and JSONs into random utility sites that were plastered with ads, with no transparency about what they were logging on their backends.
I built this suite to solve my own problem (and to pad my resume a bit for upcoming internships). Transparency is incredibly important to me, so here is exactly how the site operates:
Analytics: I use the default Vercel Web Analytics just to see if the site is getting traffic. It is entirely cookie-less and anonymizes all IP addresses.
Device Optimization: I am still learning the ropes of mobile CSS, so the desktop experience is currently much better!
I’d love for you to take it for a spin on desktop, check out the performance, try to break it, and let me know what tools I should add next!
