Offline Audio Tagger
Edit music tags and album artwork on your Android phone
Edit music tags and album artwork on Android. Save up to 20 tracks per free batch and check the result. Optional online name suggestions are reviewed before saving; audio stays on your device.
Hi, I’m Josh, the maker of Offline Audio Tagger.
It’s an Android app for cleaning up the music files you already have. Select an album or a few tracks, change the tags or artwork, preview the changes, and save. The app checks the audio before and after an in-place edit and reads the saved tags back.
Batches of up to 20 tracks are free each time. A one-time Pro purchase removes that per-save limit; Google Play shows the price for your country. Preview, batch transforms, resume and Undo are included in the free version. Undo covers the latest in-place batch and skips files that have changed or can’t be safely restored.
Local editing works offline. Version 15 also offers optional online tag suggestions from song names, artists or filename hints. The lookup requires consent, sends those name hints to LRCLIB, and leaves every result unselected for review. Audio isn’t uploaded. It doesn’t identify recordings by listening to them.
The app runs on Android 11 or later. MP3, FLAC, M4A, OGG and WAV are supported candidates, subject to the file and storage-provider checks; WAV uses RIFF INFO tags. There are no ads or app account.
Which tagging job is most awkward on your phone? Specific file formats and workflows would be useful feedback.
