I wanted something on in the background that I didn't pick myself. So I made a little radio. Save stations from around the world, they each get a number on your dial, and you can flick between them or let it shuffle.
Hey everyone!
I spend most of the day at my desk with something playing. Usually it's a playlist or a podcast, but at some point I got tired of always choosing. Even when I put on someone else's playlist, I was still the one who went and found it.
Radio fixed that for me. I like not knowing what's on the next station. Sometimes it's a great set, sometimes it's the news, sometimes it's two people chatting in a language I don't speak. That's kind of the fun of it.
So I built Off-Band. You search for stations, save the ones you like, and each one gets its own spot on the dial. I mostly just hit shuffle and let it jump around my stations.
It's free, there's no account, and everything stays in your browser. The sound comes straight from the stations themselves.
If you try it, I'd genuinely love to get some feedbacks on what to improve or change.
