Eden and I started developing Odigos after our earlier experiences with monitoring tools were frustrating
We found ourselves spending way too much time trying to locate the specific microservice that was at the root of a problem.
For example, we once spent hours debugging an application which we suspected was causing high latency, only to find out that the actual problem was rooted in a completely different application.
We decided to solve this problem and created Odigos - an observability control plane that allows you to instantly generate distributed tracing
Congratulations on the new product.. This is a product that makes work easier.. a truly extraordinary product

Odigos is a great project, keep success and progress, I loved it alot, thanks alot 🥰♥🚀
Very cool! I've been at companies before where we had tracing infra in place but didn't instrument enough of the app with it because of the upfront work required. Love the approach here! eBPF is super cool 😎
Solid product and the good part is the product is open source.
Well done team Odigos
Been using Odigos for a while now and enjoying every moment. You simplified a lot of our work with mapping our services and auto instrumenting traces for us! Thanks! Congrats on this awesome launch. 🚀
Hello, great looking solution. I currently have some K8 clusters with the datadog agent installed and configured to collect traces for these along with other metrics.
How does odigos differ or benefit more than the DD native integration?
