Hey everyone, I'm the solo founder of Obskura.
I kept losing livestream VODs I wanted to keep, and every tool I tried either deleted them on a timer or parked them on someone else's server, sometimes on a public feed anyone could browse. So I built the thing I actually wanted: a recorder that captures streams straight to my own PC.
Obskura watches the channels you choose and auto-records the moment they go live across Twitch, Kick, YouTube, TikTok and more. The recordings are local MP4s you keep forever. No cloud, no retention countdown, nothing uploaded anywhere. You can track unlimited creators, search your library with AI, trim and export clips, and stream it back to your phone while your PC runs.
