I built Obsidian Everywhere because most AI integrations treated my vault like a folder of Markdown files, not the linked knowledge graph it is.
It is a local-first MCP server for Codex, ChatGPT, Claude, and any MCP client. The part I care about most is safe, graph-aware work:
- assemble a token-budgeted context bundle
- discover related notes and shortest paths
- find broken links
- move or rename notes while updating inbound links
- preview bulk edits, snapshot them, and roll them back
There is no account, API key, hosted vault, or telemetry. You can try it without touching your notes:

I would especially value feedback on the setup flow and which graph operations should come next.
finally an MCP server that actually understands my vault graph, not just keyword search. the read-before-write safety check saved me from corrupting a daily note when Claude went on a tangent.
