Hi, I built Obseras because I kept manually re-checking pages to see if something changed — a product's price, a service's terms, a PDF price list, a competitor's page.
You point it at a URL (web page, price, PDF, API/JSON, RSS, or a GitHub repo), and it emails you the exact before/after diff when something changes — with a one-line plain-English summary of what changed. There's a visual picker so you don't need to know CSS to watch just one element (e.g. the price).
Two things that turned out more interesting than I expected:
A "double signal" for terms/policy pages: it tracks the page's own stated "last updated" date separately from the body, so it can flag when wording changed without the date being bumped — the quiet edits.
A public change tracker of the big platforms' terms/privacy pages (obseras.com/changes) — free to browse, with per-platform pages and an RSS feed.
Stack: .NET 10 / Blazor Server, SQLite, plugin-based watchers, Playwright for JS-heavy pages, on a single small VPS behind Cloudflare. AI summaries via a cheap model, only on the rare event that something actually changes.
Free plan is real (no card). It's early and solo-built — I'd genuinely value feedback on the diff quality and on what you'd want to watch that it can't yet.
