Oboe is the world’s first generalized AI-powered learning platform. Oboe lets anyone instantly create educational courses to learn about any topic in a more personalized, efficient, and fun way than ever before.
Hello, Product Hunt Community! This is Nir Zicherman, CEO of Oboe. A while back, my cofounder Michael Mignano and I launched our first company, Anchor, right here on Product Hunt. The feedback from the community was incredibly helpful. Through rapid iteration, we scaled Anchor to become the world's biggest podcasting platform, and sold the company to Spotify.
Starting today, we're back with our brand new company, Oboe, the world’s first generalized AI-powered learning platform. Oboe makes it really easy for anyone instantly create educational courses to learn about any topic in a more personalized, efficient, and fun way than ever before.
Our mission with Oboe is to make humanity smarter. We're racing towards a future in which AI never stops gaining intelligence, replacing our agency, and growing ever more powerful. In this version of the future, humans exist to feed the AI, making it smarter, while we get stupider.
But that’s only one possible future. Humans have gotten this far by staying curious, soaking up knowledge, and educating ourselves and others. We now have access to possibly the greatest technology ever for learning. And so we imagine a different future: one in which the AI feeds us, and the power of AI is harnessed to democratize a love of learning across the globe.
Courses in Oboe are designed to be lightweight, beautiful, and fast. And when curiosity strikes, it’s easy to follow rabbit holes of discovery, letting you scratch your intellectual itches. We offer personalized recommendations that match your interests so you can easily decide what to learn next. In other words: You’re not guided by ad-supported algorithms. You are the guide.
Everything you experience in Oboe is rooted in the core belief that technology should make humans smarter. We accomplish this through our several core product principles. Oboe is:
* Personalized, continuing to get better the more you use it.
* Approachable, because no one should be intimidated by learning new things.
* Flexible, allowing you to learn how you want, when you want, without preconceived notions about the right way to do so.
* Fun, because that’s what learning should be.
Oboe is available to everyone in the world, starting right now. You can create up to 5 courses for free. After that, Oboe offers two paid tiers to let you continue your journey.
We'll be responding to feedback on here all day - let us know what you think!

I haven’t tried Oboe yet, but it already seems super amazing. Really excited to give it a try soon, though I do wonder how accurate the information will be.
Congratulations on the launch! I just tried it out, and the result blew my mind—Oboe not only gathers materials, but also creates real courses, from learning content to memory aids and even quizzes. Amazing!
This is really enjoyable and the user experience is excellent.
I have a thought on the terminology, though. Instead of calling it 'learning,' what about 'exploration'? I feel the word 'learning' is a bit too confining. I certainly didn't use it with the mindset of 'learning'.
Oboe is the world’s first generalized AI-powered learning platform instantly create educational courses on any topic, tailored to your style. It’s personalized, efficient, and actually fun. Learning just got a serious upgrade.
The curiosity-driven approach is brilliant! Learning is most effective when it feels natural and engaging. I'm wondering if Oboe incorporates social learning elements - can curious learners connect with others exploring similar topics? Sometimes the best learning happens through discussions with fellow curious minds.
Congrats! For educators, Obeo is great for quick, shareable, supplemental pathways to established curriculum materials. It provides great flexibility, especially for niche topics. That said, I'm surprised Obeo doesn't level-up text. I prompted it for a high school Bio micro-course on ATP, but the reading level was university undergraduate. Why is that? Also, I prompted Obeo for a 12-minute course on ATP and it didn't respect that request either. Since prompting is key to using this platform well, do you have suggestions to maximize Obeo's effectiveness and will you be refining it to better align with user wishes? Also, so you know, the podcast episode stopped after about 19 seconds and the remainder never played.
love the idea and the design! just wondering how will it generate personalized content that fits my learning habit/ pace/ knowledge level?
Really enjoy the process of creating new lines of inquiry on Oboe — which then branch into additional subjects or topics to explore.
Also interested in what lessons you're bringing from building @Anchor to Oboe...?
Hey Nir and the Team. First, congrats on the launch. This is indeed a great platform, and I really enjoy your mission. By the way, kudos for the video, which is both informative and dynamic; it tells the story and shows the concept in action. Great stuff.
My question is about the personalization of the learning courses. Someone already asked about the content here in the comments section. But I’m even more interested in the form of the courses. I.e., will it be possible to choose the way the content is given to me? E.g., someone prefers reading from short cards, someone enjoys animated videos, someone captures information more efficiently while listening audiobooks… So, do you consider allowing users to choose the form that best suits their learning patterns?
Thanks and good luck
Very cool product, @chrismessina always finds the good ones!
Great idea but can we edit the courses as the agent may not cover everything or we want to include additional info etc.
If this really adapts to each learner, it could push traditional e-learning platforms behind.
Love the idea and the name! I’ll try it out, I need a structured learning process for once 😂
Congrats on the launch! Such a cool approach to education, and the design looks really sharp.
Nice one! I do like how the courses are separated out into different sections and styles (short vs long, audio vs text). Will you guys be introducing videos as well? Options to change the tone to suit what people are more receptive towards (funny vs casual vs formal)?
Personalizing education is a huge unlock. Excited to see where this goes!
Most platforms feel like they’re just trying to grab attention, not actually teach anything. What’s been the most surprising course someone has created so far?
Love this idea! Congrats on the product, I bookmarked it to give it a test later.
