I'm the solo developer behind Nūr.
The idea came from a simple frustration: most prayer apps felt either outdated, overloaded with features, filled with ads, or locked behind subscriptions.
I wanted something that felt native to iPhone, focused on the essentials, and enjoyable to use every day. So I started building Nūr in my spare time and kept refining it based on feedback from the Muslim community.
One of the biggest challenges was balancing simplicity with functionality. Every feature had to earn its place.
