Hey Product Hunt 👋
I'm Eduardo, and I built Nudgebox because getting a notification onto someone's phone is much harder than it should be.
If you run a store, a status page, a café or a side project, your options today are:
• Email: buried in promotions, and you have to ask for an address
• SMS: costs money per message and needs a phone number
• Your own app: months of work before you send anything
• Web push: on iPhone, people first have to add your site to their Home Screen
Nudgebox is the missing option. You show a QR code (on a receipt, a package, the counter, your status page). People scan it with the free Nudgebox app and pick what they want to hear about. Then your backend sends one request:
POST https://api.nudgebox.app/v1/noti...
…and it lands on their lock screen with your name on it.
What I care most about: people never give you their email, phone number or name. The app identifies the phone with a random ID. They can pause or unfollow anytime, and you can't add them back.
A few things you can do: 📦 Order updates printed on the receipt ☕ "Order 87 is ready" for one specific customer (single-use QR code) 🚨 Incident alerts from your status page 🧥 Restock alerts for people who want that jacket
Try it in 30 seconds: install the app, scan DEMO_LINK, and you'll get a welcome push straight away.
For makers: the Free plan includes 1,000 notifications a month. No card needed. For today only, Pro is free for 2 months with code PRODUCTHUNT.
It's iPhone-only for now. Android is next, and the more of you ask for it, the sooner it comes.
I'd love your honest feedback, especially what you'd send first. I'll be here all day answering questions. 🙏

Who hunted Nudgebox?
Nudgebox was hunted by Eduardo Serrano. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
