Hi Product Hunt, I'm Richard, the maker of NovelFarer.
NovelFarer is a text RPG you play by writing what your character does or says. The AI narrates the scene, while the game tracks your character, inventory, money, quests and consequences.
You can choose a ready-made world or describe your own premise, create a character with a role and background, and play in English or Dutch. Risky actions show their difficulty before you roll a real d20. Your attributes and gear affect the result. As you explore, the map grows and your character gains levels and talents. AI portraits and scene art bring the adventure to life, with artwork allowances depending on your plan.
NovelFarer is fully released and runs in your browser on desktop or mobile. You can try a story without an account. The free account plan includes 10 turns a day, and new accounts get 3 days of Adventurer access with pictures. Paid plans are optional.
