We built Suki Translate because we were tired of the screenshot-to-Google-Lens dance every time we hit a Japanese manga page or a Korean manhwa panel.
It's a native iOS app. Point your camera at something — manga, a sign, a menu, a screenshot and get the translation right there. 29 languages. The whole thing runs locally on your phone. We don't upload your images anywhere, there's no account to create, and we can't see what you're translating even if we wanted to.
It came out of our main product, Novel Translator, where we've been translating Asian novels with AI for 10+ years. We kept hearing from readers who also wanted to translate images like manga pages, light novel illustrations with text, webtoon panels — so we built a dedicated app for it instead of cramming it into the web tool.
