Excited to hunt NotionApps! I think NotionApps has the potential to be a game-changer for users who want to create new and innovative apps with Notion. Here are a few specific things I like about NotionApps: - It's easy to use. Even if you're not a developer, you can create custom apps with NotionApps. - It works seamlessly with Notion. - It's powerful. NotionApps can be used to create a wide variety of apps, from simple to complex. - It allows granular data sharing with people in or outside of your Notion workspace. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a way to extend the functionality of Notion.

Hey PH Community! This is Jatin, the other co-founder of NotionApps. Sameer has already described what NotionApps does and how our users are using it. I wanted to take a step back and reflect on how we got here. We started building a different no-code tool back in late 2019. We struggled to gain enough traction and saw the market getting more crowded by the day. At last, when we decided to pivot, it was a hard decision. It felt like we were quitting on our product. In hindsight, we should have pivoted earlier. What we thought was a failure, turned out to be an outlet for all things we wanted to do with the first product. These are the things we did quite the opposite in the second product (compared to the first): 1. A NotionApps community from Day 1 🤝 2. Better documentation 📚 3. Focus on PLG flows 🚀 4. Focus on marketing 📢 5. and, finally a Product Hunt launch 💥 NotionApps is a labor of love. We want to expand Notion’s ecosystem with our app builder. I hope you see the vision that we see and leave some feedback for us! Thanks for stopping by!

Hello Product Hunters! 😺 This is Sameer, co-founder of NotionApps. Thank you for checking out our launch! The Idea 💡 Jatin and I have been building tools in the no-code space for the past 4 years. And we use Notion for everything internal. We understand the strengths of the tool and also its pain points. At the beginning of the year, when we decided to pivot, we talked to more users in the Notion community and we realized a lot of them share similar pain points. The pain points 🙅‍♂️ 👉 There is no simple way to share data with those who do not intend to use Notion (like clients, vendors, field teams, etc)
👉 Notion does not have granular database permissions (share only specific data to users)
👉 Limitations in views especially in the mobile experience, also not many options to customize the layout.
👉 Notion does not have app-like functionalities such as custom sign-up/login, navigation menus, QR scanning, location tracking, etc The solution 🚒 A tool to build apps from Notion data without coding. The apps look professional, load blazing fast, and are mobile-friendly. Since the apps are PWAs they can be shared by a link and also installed (Add to home screen) on any device. The features 🛠️ We are adding new building blocks to the app builder every week. Some important features include, 1. List views 2. Grid views 3. Custom domain 4. Enable login 5. Database permissions 6. Forms to add data 7. Forms to update data 8. Location components 9. Media components 10. Barcode scanning
..and more We take our feature requests seriously, some upcoming features include Relation support, showing page content in the app, and desktop view. The use cases 🕵️‍♀️ We are seeing our early customers use the tool for various use cases. While we come across new use cases frequently, here are some popular ones 1. Catalogues 2. Directories 3. Event portals 4. Employee portals 5. Client portals 6. Membership apps 7. Partner apps 8. Field apps What use case do you have in mind? Thank you once again, can’t wait to hear your feedback.

Congratulations on the launch. Will be an excellent addition for internal tools. Nice job 👍

Notion Apps team, congrats on the launch! I wish I had such a product earlier. So much time could be saved. @natella_nuralieva , check it out. It is like your love for creating lists with Notion and developing things finally meet in one place :) I think that we could try to visualize the use cases of our own product with this app. Thank you! And congrats one more time!

This should be amongst the top 3 products of the month. Congratulations on the launch guys 💯

Congrats on the launch, definitely an awesome app to use kudos to the team . Great job!

Congrats on the launch! This idea is really great. Is there any app that is already online for us to try out?

It's really helpful that the app allows you to share data with people who don't use Notion. Plus, the fact that you can customize the layout and add app-like functionalities.

This was something much required I was looking for. Congratulations team for this successful launch

This is an outstanding app for non-coders like me! Being able to build apps from Notion databases without any coding is incredible. I have a few questions about the customization options. Can we customize the login page and add our branding elements to it? Also, are there any limitations on the number of menus, lists, or forms that we can add to the app? I also wanted to mention that I recently came across a resource called "Building Apps Without Code" by Adalo. It covers various strategies and tools for building apps without coding. I believe it could provide some valuable insights for NotionApps as well. Looking forward to exploring NotionApps further and seeing how it can empower me to bring my ideas to life! Keep up the great work! :))

Empowering non-coders to create customized apps from Notion databases is a fantastic leap forward. Streamlining app development for everyone!

Congratulations @sameer_sanagala & @jatinarora. You guys have come a long way. Upwards from here! NotionApps is a problem worth solving.

Congratulations on the launch of NotionApps! how are you thinking about integrating workflows between the Notion backend and generated app frontend? For example, if data is added in the app, does it automatically sync back to the Notion base?

This is great. We do everything on Notion internally. Would love to try NotionApps out. We even build our web content off pure Notion using notion.lol

Congratulations for launching such a great product..easy to understand.. great work.. really amazing product..

This makes sense. We have more and more data going into Notion, and building apps on top of this knowledge could really be useful. Congrats on your launch.
