Most people who want a specific domain name have no way to know when a real opportunity to acquire it appears. Notify.domains monitors WHOIS, RDAP, auctions, marketplaces, website signals, and more, checking each domain 20+ times per day across all IANA TLDs. When something changes, you get a plain-English notification with exact next steps, not raw data. $24/year, 7-day free trial, no credit card required.

I spent 15 years inside the domain industry. I founded DomainSherpa, created DNAcademy, and ran it as GoDaddy's Director of Education after the acquisition. I watched people lose names they wanted because they didn't have the right information at the right moment. Notify.domains watches any domain you want and tells you when something changes, with exact next steps, not raw WHOIS. I'll be here all day. What's the one name you would grab if you knew the moment it became available?

Comment highlights

I've been using Notify.domains to track a name that I've been lusting over for more than a decade... it's no longer being used, it's not for sale, and the owner won't respond, so knowing that Notify.domains is working 24/7 on my behalf gives me hope that one day I'll get my chance to own it.

And Michael genuinely listens to feedback and continues to improve the service, so what's not to love?!?!

I’ll take all the help and direction I can get, as domaining is my side, side hustle. If Michael built it I know it works and will only get better with his attention to detail and willingness to help this industry become more transparent and user friendly. Only following 3 names so far but will expand. Love the time saved tracker as it makes me realize I wish we had this a long time ago.

Congratulations and well done!

Congratulations on the launch, Mike. The landscape of the places domain names may be available has become more decentralized, making a service such as this essential for those names you really want. I can't begin to imagine to complexity behind the scenes of making this work with so many different systems. Hats off for getting it all together and launched.

Am I correct that there is nothing to present two, or more, people from signing up for monitoring the exact same name? If so, I presume they would each get the same information according to their notification preferences?

I could definitely use this. Do you have the ability to search by keyword or industry instead of specific domains?

@mikesabet this could be helpful for your search.

Great product/service! Have been testing it for a few weeks… saves me a ton of time, and gets me extra eyes on valuable domains that matter to me.

Love that the alerts explain what to do next. Really useful for founders waiting on the right domain. Congrats on the launch!

the harder problem here feels like the race, not the detection. if a domain is desirable enough that you're watching it, other domainers and sniping services are probably watching the same signals too. once notify.domains fires the alert, is there still a real window to act, or does it come down to who has the fastest registrar API hooked up at that point?
