Notice – Mindful Screen Time
Dynamic Island timer that makes screen time visible
Notice is a free iOS timer for mindful screen time. It sits in the Dynamic Island and works with Shortcuts so you can see how long you have been on your phone. It is about noticing how long you have been on your phone, not blocking apps. No account required.
I built Notice because most screen time tools either block you before you open an app, or show you a chart the next day. Neither helped me in the moment.
Notice puts a live timer in the Dynamic Island while you're in an app you've picked, so you can see the time pass and decide for yourself when it's enough. No blocking, no guilt.
How it works:
• You connect apps with two Shortcuts automations (there's a picture guide in the app)
• A gentle reminder every 5 minutes, and the timer turns red after 10
• An optional alarm at 20 minutes, which you can turn off
• Today's totals: time spent, sessions and longest session
It's free, there's no account, and your stats stay on your phone.
I'd love to hear what you think, especially how the setup feels and what would make it more useful for you.
