Notering is a minimalist gaming news app. Every story is cross-checked against multiple sources (all linked), rumors always get a clear RUMOR badge, and the writing stays neutral: no clickbait, no hot takes. One curated daily edition instead of an endless feed. Follow games or whole franchises for release reminders, price drop alerts and free game alerts. Built by a solo dev from Brazil with Flutter, Supabase and Netlify. Free on Google Play, plus a web version.

Top comment

Hey Product Hunt! I read gaming news every day and slowly lost patience with what it became: clickbait headlines, rumors sold as facts, and ten sites recycling the same story. So I spent the last months building the app I wanted to use. Notering publishes one curated daily edition. Every story is cross-checked against multiple sources, and all of them are linked. Rumors always carry a RUMOR badge, so they never masquerade as confirmed facts. The writing stays neutral by design. Along the way it grew beyond news: you can follow games or whole franchises and get release reminders, price drop alerts and free game alerts. There is also a web version for reading in the browser. I'm a solo dev from Brazil, bootstrapped, running on free tiers (Flutter, Supabase, Netlify). I would love your feedback, especially the harsh kind.

Comment highlights

Love the rumor badge idea, that's a breath of fresh air. One thing I'd love to see is a weekly recap or short digest you can read in under two minutes, maybe a Sunday edition highlighting the most important stories you missed. Would make it easier to catch up without scrolling through the whole week.

the RUMOR badge and cross-checked sources are a really thoughtful touch, makes the whole experience feel trustworthy instead of just another feed.

Who hunted Notering?

Notering was hunted by Luca Prado. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
