NotePin
Leave private sticky notes directly on any webpage or URL
Stop context-switching between your browser and your notes app. NotePin is a lightweight Chrome extension that lets you attach notes, ideas, and to-dos directly to any webpage. The next time you visit the URL, your notes are right there waiting for you. Perfect for developers, researchers, and anyone who wants to keep their thoughts tied to the source.
I built NotePin because I was tired of constantly switching between my browser and my note taking apps. I would find a great article, a piece of code, or a useful tool, write down my thoughts in another app, and then completely lose the connection between my note and the original website.
As an independent developer who values privacy, I wanted a local first solution that keeps the context intact without sending my data to external cloud servers.
Here is what NotePin brings to your browser:
📝 Contextual Notes: Pin notes, ideas, or to dos directly to specific URLs.
⚡ No Context Switching: Keep your thoughts exactly where you found the inspiration.
🔒 Local & Private: Your notes are stored securely in your browser. No accounts required.
🌙 Clean UI: Fast, intuitive design with support for Light and Dark modes.
I would love to hear your thoughts! Feel free to install it, pin your first note, and let me know your honest feedback below. I will be here all day to answer questions. Thank you! 🚀

Who hunted NotePin?
NotePin was hunted by Robin Ayzit. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
