I built NoteLace because I wanted one notebook that combined the things I use every day: linked ideas, structured views, offline access, and sync that does not make my notes feel rented from somebody else’s cloud.
NoteLace stores content in Markdown and works offline.
You can link notes with [[wiki-links]], surface backlinks automatically, turn properties into table, board, and calendar views, and use optional private AI with your own API key or a local Ollama model.
