NotchPet lives in your MacBook's notch, peeking out when your system changes and quietly napping when nothing needs you. Cute enough to keep. Light enough to forget.

Top comment

Hey Product Hunt 👋 I built NotchPet because the MacBook notch felt like unused space waiting for a little personality. Instead of another system-monitoring dashboard, NotchPet turns CPU, memory, battery, and temperature changes into playful reactions from a tiny companion. It stays out of your way: no Dock icon, no window to manage, and no stolen focus. When nothing is happening, it simply naps. What started as a fun notch experiment gradually became an exercise in restraint: keeping it useful, lightweight, and charming without becoming distracting. I’d love to hear what you think, especially which reactions or pets you’d like to see next! 🐶
