Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm Danilo, and I made Notch Arcade.
It started with my coding agents. I'd kick off a task, open TikTok "for two minutes," and come back twenty minutes later with no idea what the agent had done. I wanted a break that actually ends.
So I built a small arcade inside the MacBook notch. Double-tap Right Option, play one round of Snake or Breakout, press Escape, and you're back in your editor. The notch was dead space anyway.
A few things I cared about:
• Keyboard first. Every game plays without the mouse, and every game saves mid-run.
• Short and long games. Six arcade games for a quick round, three puzzles, and two idle games (Miner and Farm) that keep going while the app is closed.
• Global high scores. Nine games have an arcade-style leaderboard.
• Small and honest. No account, no subscription. $9.99 once during launch, and one purchase covers every Mac you use.
No notch? It sits in a small bar at the top of any screen, and it runs on Intel Macs too.
Three more games are already in the workshop: a Flappy-style flyer, a Crossy-style lane crosser, and an auto-jump platformer. They'll be free updates.
