What inspired it: every capable AI assistant I tried wanted me to upload my documents, photos or voice to someone else's server. For client files, contracts or anything personal, that's a non-starter.
The problem: local models exist, but running them means terminals, model hunting and config files. Most people give up and go back to the cloud.
How we approached it: download one .exe and it just works. Notch profiles your GPU/RAM and picks the right local model (Qwen 2.5 7B or Gemma) for you. On top of that:
• Real-time voice conversation, fully offline
• Ask questions about your PDFs with on-device RAG + OCR
• Local image generation with SDXL Turbo & Flux, $0 per image
