I was struggling at work to find the URL of a service during onboarding at one of my old teams. We had multiple instances of that service, each with a different link, and the team's documentation was never up to date — the URLs in the Wiki were old and out of sync with what was actually running. A follow-up task from my onboarding was to go fix the Wiki and clean it up. After doing that a couple of times, it struck me: it would be nice to have a shared workspace where I could manage all these links centrally. Via API, I could keep the URLs in sync directly from the Terraform code, and I could share folders within a workspace with anyone on the team — or, if needed, with a wider audience outside of it too. There was a personal angle to this as well. I use multiple browsers daily: one for software development, one for day-to-day work tasks, one for personal stuff. I wanted my bookmarks in sync across all of them, so that on my couch I could pull up an article I'd saved on my work browser, right from my personal laptop — without manually sending links to myself over Slack, WhatsApp, or whatever. This product comes out of that frustration: years of messy onboardings and one too many links sent to myself across apps just to read something later.

Comment highlights

folder-level sharing is genuinely useful, and the scoped ai agent access is a smart move instead of giving blanket permissions

finally a bookmark manager that doesn't feel like another todo app in disguise, and the scoped permissions for AI access is a smart move that more tools should copy
