Hi everyone, I'm Naoufal, the founder of Norba.
I started this after looking at what it takes to sell airline tickets directly. Connecting to one airline can take months.
Norba sits in between. You send one search and get back offers from every connected airline in the same JSON format. From there the same API covers the rest of the trip: confirming the price, seat maps, bags, creating the booking (as a hold to pay later, or paid upfront), and afterwards adding extras, changing flights, cancelling and getting a refund quote.
A few things we spent a lot of time on, because they matter once real money is involved:
- Errors come with codes your app can act on, like the airline refusing, a hold that expired, or a flight that is no longer available.
- The sandbox shows what each booking would cost you in production, without charging anything.
- The sandbox works end to end, and that's what we're inviting you to try.
Pricing is pay as you go after 500 free requests: a fraction of a cent per call and a small percentage per completed booking, capped per order.
We also built our own booking site and Android and iOS apps on the same API, which has been the best way to find what's missing.
