One of the biggest pieces of feedback we’ve received over the years is “You guys are great… but your claims process kinda sucks”. We agree — complicated paperwork and 30 day turnarounds aren’t ideal.
We listened to your feedback and have been working hard to launch our own carrier, create a more streamlined claims process and add comprehensive coverage options tailored to the needs of digital nomads and adventurers.

I was actually looking to signup with this last week because I was looking for new international insurance. But a couple of things kept me from signing up:
1) I ran into a lot of UI issues, the signup kept getting errors (and I'm a frontend dev so was trying to fix locally using my normal go-to's but no luck)
2) When I did finally get through, the pricing wasn't very transparent and it was asking me to enter my payment details to start. Being more transparent on what you'll be charged would be nice.
Will definitely keep my eyes on the product though, looks intriguing and even though I called out UI and UX issues, I like the overall direction and when things worked, they worked really well!
I recommend this app to anyone who loves travel and wants to stay safe during their adventures!

SafetyWing's new update sounds like a step in the right direction but faster claims mean nothing if the service also isn't up to par, only time will tell if this will be enough to keep up with real nomads' needs, anyone else thinks they're just dressing up old problems with new buzzwords?

Found your insurance while scrolling through some forums, and honestly, it's about time you guys fixed the claims process from what Sondre said sounds like you've been aware of it being a mess for a while but why did it take so long to address it? also cool that you've got options for adventure sports and electronics did you get a lot of feedback asking for that? would be interested to know what else you've got planned in updates or new features, peace of mind is great but people want more than just basics these days, keep it coming and let's hope this version lives up to the hype
