I built Noelty because learning Greek and English with private teachers was painful.
Why I switched from Skyeng to private tutors and ran into a mess: they'd share their screen with random documents and pictures, send PDFs or just throw homework at me on Telegram. It was annoying and hard to learn like that. No structure, hard to track progress, no connection between the material and my answers. And I thought: enough is enough!
What I built
A simple lesson builder for teachers where they can:
Quickly create a lesson with different exercise types (reading, listening, fill in the blanks, multiple choice, matching, etc.)
Share a link with their student - student opens it, no sign-up needed, just answers
See in real time what the student is typing while they're on a call together (Zoom, whatever works for them)
The calls happen however the teacher and student prefer. I just got rid of the mess around the exercises.
What's done
9 types of exercises (started with 9 for the MVP)
Live sync between teacher and student
Export lessons as PDF (with or without answers)
Library of all tasks and lessons
What's next
I have lots of ideas - AI lesson builder, analytics, import materials, student dashboard. But right now I want to figure out if this is actually useful.
Teachers, give it a try 👇 If you teach languages, please try it (it's free) and let me know what you think. There's a feedback form on the landing page. I'd really appreciate hearing what works, what doesn't, what's missing.
