Nod is the first iOS app that helps you fight phone pickups. Put your phone face down to focus. Pick it up and Nod counts the pickup, so you can take back control of your mind. Built for ADHD brains, deep workers, students, and anyone fighting their inner demons to win their focus back.
hey guys 👋 I'm Mak from MAK Studio.
I built Nod because I kept catching myself reaching for my phone every few minutes — and every single time, my focus was gone. Turns out it's not just me: the average person picks up their phone 100+ times a day, and research from UC Irvine found it takes 23 minutes and 15 seconds to fully refocus after one interruption. So every "quick check" was quietly costing me half an hour.
Screen time apps don't fix this — they just tell you what happened after you've already lost the day.
Nod works in the moment. Put your phone face down and your focus session starts. Pick it up, and Nod instantly logs the pickup — so you see the exact moment your focus broke, and start training it back.
Built for anyone stuck in the phone-pickup loop — ADHD brains, students, deep workers, or anyone trying to get their mind back.
Try one 10-minute Nod session today. Your hand will probably reach for your phone. That’s exactly the habit Nod helps you beat.
Would love your feedback — and an upvote if it resonates 🙏

Who hunted NOD?
NOD was hunted by MAK. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
