Honestly, I built NoCap because I was getting burned out by how serious, permanent, and text-heavy the internet has become. We have apps for anonymous messages, but typing can feel so rigid (and let's be real, sometimes toxic).
I started wondering: what happens if you strip away the keyboard, remove the pressure of a profile, and just give people a blank canvas to communicate anonymously?
NoCap is the result of that curiosity. It’s completely frictionless. No sign-ups, no profiles. Just a raw canvas to draw something quick, funny, or weird, and share it.
I’m a student, and I built this using a “vibe coding” approach—just rapidly stitching tools together to bring the idea to life. It’s far from a massive enterprise app, but seeing the random, unpolished things people draw when no one is judging them has been fascinating.
