Hey Product Hunt - I’m one of the makers of nobg.
I was tired of sending product photos, portraits, and client files to a cloud cutout service just to get a transparent PNG. Credits, preview-resolution free tiers, and “we may use your images” fine print are the default. So nobg does the cut in the browser tab.
What it does:
Drop, paste, or pick JPEG / PNG / WebP / GIF / HEIC
Processing stays in this tab - nothing is uploaded
Inspect edges, then erase or restore
Export original-resolution transparent PNG - no watermark, no HD paywall
After the first load it caches and works offline
Who it’s for: sellers who need catalog cutouts, photographers who won’t upload faces, and anyone who wants one photo gone without creating an account.
