Hey Product Hunt 👋
I built Ninaivugal after realizing something strange:
Most of us don’t truly think or feel in just English.
Important memories, emotions, family moments and late night thoughts usually exist in our mother tongue or somewhere between languages.
But almost every journaling platform today is designed with an English-first mindset.
So I wanted to create a private space where people can write naturally in Tamil, English, Hindi, or even a mix of languages without feeling forced into one format.
But while building it, something became unexpectedly emotional.
Reading old entries started feeling like conversations with a past version of ourselves.
That slowly evolved into one of Ninaivugal’s core experiences:
being able to revisit and talk to your past self through your memories, thoughts and emotions over time.
Ninaivugal means “memories” in Tamil and this project is deeply personal to me.
