Nido
A shared money app for couples, built to end money fights
Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I'm Diego, a solo developer building Nido from Cali, Colombia, nights and weekends.
The honest origin story: my partner and I have money conversations too, like every couple does, and I got tired of us looking at two different pictures of our finances. I quickly built a webapp for our hosehold. That solution became Nido.
Nido gives you and your partner one shared, calm view of your money — shared expenses, who-owes-whom, bills, a budget — with real per-transaction privacy controls, since "shared" shouldn't mean "no secrets ever" (surprise gifts stay surprises). It's manual-first, which matters a lot for where I'm launching first.
I'm building this to be genuinely useful for free, not free-until-you're-hooked — the free tier is meant to actually work, forever. Paid is for couples who want to go further together: shared goals, a guided monthly money date, more.
Would love your feedback, especially if you and a partner try inviting each other in — that's the moment the whole product is built around. Thanks for taking a look! 🪺
Money is one of the biggest friction points for couples, so an app that makes shared finances transparent (with privacy controls!) is really thoughtful. Wishing you a great launch! 💛

Who hunted Nido?
Nido was hunted by Diego Cruz. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
