Nichory
Find the subreddits where your niche lives — rules included
Type any niche and instantly see the Reddit communities where your audience hangs out — member counts, activity signals, and each community's self-promotion rules decoded into allowed / restricted / banned. Free, no login.
Hey PH 👋
I built Nichory because "just promote it on Reddit" is advice that gets people banned.
Every subreddit has different rules about self-promotion. Some ban it outright, some
allow it only in a weekly thread, a few tolerate it. Nobody tells you which is which —
so you post, get removed, and conclude Reddit doesn't work.
Then in November 2025, GummySearch (the biggest Reddit research tool) shut down because
it couldn't afford Reddit's API pricing. Thousands of marketers lost their tool overnight.
So I built something with no API dependency at all:
🔍 Type any niche → see every relevant community, ranked by a signal score
📊 Real member counts, refreshed every week (363 communities, 1.03B members indexed)
🚦 The part I'm most proud of: I read the published rules of every community and
classified its self-promotion policy — allowed, restricted, or banned. 332 of them
are classified so far. So you know BEFORE you post whether you're walking into a ban.
It's completely free, no login, no signup wall.
Technical bit some of you might enjoy: Reddit blocks both servers AND headless browsers
from its data endpoints. So my pipeline drives a real Chrome window on my own PC once a
week, collects the data, rebuilds all ~400 pages, and deploys itself. No API key, nothing
to revoke. It ran by itself this morning before this launch.
Two things I'd genuinely love feedback on:
1. Is the "signal score" (size + growth blended) useful, or just noise?
2. Which niche should I add next? There are 27 so far.
I'll be here all day — ask me anything.

Who hunted Nichory?
Nichory was hunted by Nazrul Islam. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
