I built NextRound (nextroundapp.us) to help address pains I experienced as a student who applied to a lot of internships this year. It is difficult to track internship deadlines, manage/organize different resume and cover letter drafts, and prepare efficiently for interviews. Using a regular spreadsheet to track internship applications is tedious and messy. A lot of time is also spent looking for new internship opportunities.
NextRound is a one-stop-shop for applying to internships. You can view all your applications in one place. NextRound will pull and sort all the relevant info that you need including deadlines, requirements, contact emails, etc. You can store resumes/cover letters, edit them right in the app, and attach them to specific applications so they do not get lost. It can help with creating ATS friendly resumes to make sure that your applications is not ignored. You can use AI features to help with writing/drafting of emails and documents, as well as tailored interview prep for each application. NextRound also finds new opportunities to apply to based on your background, allowing you to add them to your dashboard with one click.
The app is currently in a waitlist period, which can be joined on the website. I encourage anyone who is interested to join now, since the first 50 sign ups will get the premium tier free for 3 months. I am really hoping to get some initial feedback from people who have been through the internship application process, or really anyone who has thoughts. Thanks in advance.
