I built NextGen Career after watching too many talented candidates — including engineers I've worked with — get rejected not because they lacked skill, but because they couldn't communicate it well under interview pressure.
I've spent years in automotive supplier quality (Honda, now an EV company), and I kept seeing the same gap: people knew their subject but froze in interviews, or had resumes that didn't do them justice.
So I built an AI mock interview system that actually analyzes eye contact, posture, and confidence in real time — not just word matching. Paired it with instant resume feedback and a progress dashboard so people can see themselves improving.
It started as a side project, but after testing it with engineering students and seeing their confidence shift, I knew it needed to be real.
