Developers waste hours fixing broken environments, version conflicts, and leaking variables. Nexenv creates isolated environments per project without containers or overhead. Open any project and it: – Detects and activates the correct runtime – Loads only that project's environment variables – Prevents conflicts between projects – Gets your workspace ready in seconds Define once in nexenv.yaml and your team works instantly. Stop configuring. Start building.
Hey everyone 👋
I built Nexenv because I was tired of constantly breaking my dev environment.
Switching between projects meant:
– Wrong Node versions
– Environment variables leaking between apps
– Hours wasted fixing setups instead of building
So I built a tool that makes every project fully isolated and ready instantly — without Docker, without complexity.
Just open a project and everything is configured automatically.
This is an early version and I’d love your feedback.
