Over the past two months, I have been "outside-of-the-office". During that time, I met a potential client, who was interested in a proposal by me.
In the office, I would usually start a PowerPoint deck for this – and spend 3 working days on "slide monkey work". This time, I decided to be more like Frank Sinatra – and do it my way. I vibe-coded up a fully interactive slide deck for my client, and hosted it on a website – that I shared securely and password-protected with my client.
From this idea, NewGenSlides.com was born. Like Amazon, I decided to package my own solution, and make it available to the public.
NewGen Slides allows you to design your own slide decks using AI. Unlike other slide generators, NewGen Slides works via HTML – i.e. you get all the functionalities of a website, but in the format of a presentation. As a result, your slides become fully interactive, communicate clearer, and work as well on a laptop as they do on a phone.

NewGen Slides was hunted by Benjamin L. Brückner. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
