Neumann
A local voice AI assistant that teaches itself new skills
Built a voice-first AI assistant for Windows that actually controls your PC and improves itself. Custom wake word, multi-LLM routing (Groq/Claude/OpenAI/Ollama), visual screen guide that shows you where to click, ghost replay that records & replays your actions, focus guardian that roasts you for opening Instagram, plugin skill store with AI-generated skills, self-improving agent that writes its own fixes, and Telegram remote control from your phone. Fully open source.
I wanted an AI assistant that doesn't just answer questions but actually controls my computer and gets smarter over time. Every assistant I tried hits the same wall — ask something outside its scope and you get "I can't do that." So I built Neumann where "I can't do that" is a bug, not an answer. It detects failures, writes its own plugins, and applies them automatically.

Who hunted Neumann?
Neumann was hunted by Alpkağan Bektaş. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
