Hey Product Hunt!
I built NerdBuddy because studying math online often involves too much friction: copying formulas, retyping problems from PDFs, switching tabs, or trying to explain a screenshot to an AI tool.
NerdBuddy is a Chrome extension that lets you select any math problem directly on a webpage, PDF, worksheet, quiz, or homework platform, then get an AI-powered answer in the browser side panel.
You can use it for quick final answers, full step-by-step explanations, and checking your work without leaving the page you are studying on.
The goal is simple: help students, parents, and tutors move from “I don’t understand this problem” to a clear explanation right where the problem appears.
I’d love feedback from the Product Hunt community, especially around the capture flow, answer quality, and what would make NerdBuddy more useful for daily studying.
