Loads of people were skeptical that this humanoid robot is for real — but X1's founder Bernt Øivind Børnich has been working on this problem since 2014!

How exciting and a tad bit intimidating! I'm all about learning how to ride this new wave. I see a lot of potential in this for people with mental health issues. I understand this is still in the early stages, but I'm wondering if, down the line, it will be able to pick up ASL (American Sign Language) and communicate with deaf users like myself. Congrats on the launch!
Looks interesting but honestly not sure people are ready for a humanoid robot at home, it could be more trouble than it's worth, let's see how it actually performs in real life though
Excited to see the launch of NEO Beta by 1X Technologies! This humanoid robot is a big leap in AI, and if it really can blend safety and intelligence for home use, I'll be impressed. I work for an AI platform called @cloudapper that's harnessing AI’s potential like this while prioritizing ethics, privacy, and security, so it’s inspiring to see innovations like NEO. Hoping 1X Technologies' responsible AI values are in place!
I came across this robot while browsing and I'm curious but also a bit concerned, it sounds great but how exactly is safety handled, with so many AI advancements people might worry about control and privacy issues, could you expand on what makes it genuinely safe, and will there be features that ensure it integrates well into daily life without being intrusive?
A very cool companion for the home, this is an exciting launch. Congrats! How much will it cost? I'm guessing it's likely cheaper to hire a full-time human carer for now. How does it handle lunatic puppies, dogs, cats, small children, etc.? It'd be brilliant in aged care facilities, which are often understaffed. 💪🏼 ❤️
So we're supposed to believe a humanoid robot can safely work among people, this sounds like sci-fi gone wrong, maybe it'll take some convincing to prove it can actually integrate without issues, good luck with that
I love the concept of a robot designed for both industrial tasks and home assistance. It seems like a step towards making our daily lives more manageable.
The vision for this humanoid assistant sounds promising, but I’m curious about how it will handle complex home environments. How will it adapt to different home layouts and tasks? Also, how will privacy be managed with a robot in the house?
While the idea of a humanoid assistant is exciting, I’m concerned about the practicality of using it in everyday situations. How well will it integrate into a typical home setting, and what measures are in place to ensure it handles tasks safely and efficiently?
The ides of bio inspired robots is fascinating. cannot wait to see how it performs in real world scenories
I'm pretty skeptical about having humanoid robots in our homes, what if they're not as “safe” as they claim, the whole idea of having them around people feels a bit risky and the bio-inspired design sounds more like a gimmick than a real advancement, not convinced this is the way forward for robotics🤔
The focus on robotics on safety and human-like design is sure to make a big impact in robotics
Its a ability's to safely to operate in human envoirmnet is a note worthy advancement in robotics
