Hey Product Hunt, I'm Moises, the maker of Needl Vinyl.
Needl has been on the App Store since May, and about 300 collectors use it every month. This is my first time sharing it here.
What inspired it
When I got into collecting records, my music ended up in three places: the records on my shelf, a list of the ones I was hunting for, and everything I streamed every day. Streaming had stats, visuals and lyrics. My turntable had none of that. I wanted one place for all of it, and a reason to play my records more.
The problem
Most vinyl apps are catalogs. They're great at tracking what you own, but they don't do much when a record is actually playing, and they don't know what you stream.
How I built it
I've spent 10 years as a software product manager, working on iOS products for major retail brands, with a background in product design. I designed every screen around my own shelves first, then built Needl natively in Swift and SwiftUI so it feels at home on every Apple device. As a team of one, I used AI tools like Claude Code to move faster. Early collectors tested it on TestFlight, and features like adding records back to Discogs came straight from their feedback.
