NDOR
AI that challenges your reasoning before you decide
Most AI helps you produce an answer. NDOR challenges whether the answer holds up. It stress-tests documents, models and proposals for weak reasoning, hidden assumptions, contradictions, evidence gaps and risk. Purpose-built tools let you Review, Sanity-check, Interpret or improve a Draft, producing structured, traceable analytical reports rather than another chat response. NDOR is designed to question your thinking, not simply reinforce it.
I didn't build NDOR because the world needed another AI tool. I built it because of two decisions I made a few months apart — one that nearly broke me, and one that, if I'm honest, worked out more by luck than judgment.
I bought two businesses.
For the first, I did everything right. Full due diligence. Expensive lawyers. Every box ticked, every process followed properly. I still got it wrong. The problems weren't in what anyone hid from me — they were in the detail I'd read but hadn't truly interrogated. I'd taken on serious debt to make the acquisition. Within a year, I had to close the company.
For the second, I did far less. I sat with the owner, asked him questions, and he was honest with me in a way that made me trust my own read of the situation. Less debt this time. It worked.
I knew, even then, that I'd gotten lucky the second time. The gap between those two outcomes had nothing to do with effort — I'd worked harder on the deal that failed. It came down to whether the assumptions underneath the numbers had actually been challenged, or just accepted because I wanted the answer to be yes.
I've had smaller versions of the same experience with contracts — read them, believed I understood them, trusted the person across the table, signed. Then a relationship soured, circumstances shifted, and a clause I'd skimmed past turned out to be the only one that mattered.
None of this means due diligence is pointless, or that lawyers aren't worth what you pay them. It means something narrower: even a properly-run process has a blind spot, and the blind spot is usually the question nobody in the room was incentivized to ask.
Before you sign it, approve it, invest in it, or commit to it — what haven't you challenged? What are you assuming because challenging it would slow you down, or because you already know what answer you want?
This is the gap NDOR is built to examine.
Not a faster way to produce a document — a second, harder look at the reasoning, assumptions, and risk sitting underneath one you're about to act on.
I can't build something that guarantees a good decision. Nobody can. I built the thing I wish I'd had before I made that first decision.
If you've been in that position — found out too late what you'd missed — I'd genuinely like to hear about it. It's a lot of what I'm still building toward.
